The Design
Founder & Creative Director: Marnie Gelhard
Marnie Gelhard is a talented brand designer known for her global perspective and love for nature. Originally from Sydney, Australia, she grew up in Singapore and New York. Marnie has a deep passion for creating amazing restaurant concepts, particularly for seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor dining spaces.
As a female entrepreneur, Marnie embodies the spirit of a dedicated "girl boss," demonstrating unwavering determination and a tireless work ethic. Her journey with Flora, which began with hand-drawing a logo in 2019, has evolved into overseeing all aspects of design, including graphic design, interior design, social media, packaging, web, and branding. Studying at Santa Clara University and Shillington College provided Marnie with a solid foundation and a well-rounded approach to design. Her innovative touch and meticulous attention to detail sets a new standard for restaurant design, leaving an indelible mark on the industry.
